Application
Ideal walk-in freezers and outdoor locations that get as low as -40° F. The Arctic400PLS should be kept inside a watertight fixture or recessed within a building to prevent icicle formation around the case.
It will keep a 200-400 watt pulse start metal halide bulb at full brightness during brief power sags. If the power failure persists after 2 minutes, an inverter will automatically switch to a connected DC generator circuit without losing efficacy.

The Arctic 400PLS has a reduced profile steel case and includes a solid-state charging indicator which attaches to the luminaire for at-will battery monitoring. The Arc Keeper ballast has six convenient 0.25-inch diameter holes (3 at each end) which will allow mounting inside most PSMH ballast channels.
