In the movies, when the building's power fails there seems to be an elongated time period where the cast seemingly fights for survival. In reality, you can avoid this antagonistic element by purchasing our Bodine brand emergency ballast.
The GEN1 model works with your building's generator (or other power source) to provide emergency power for up to five (5) minutes. If the generator fails, the ballast will provide additional electricity to avoid lighting shutdown.
