Your electrical supply company was called to replace dozens of emergency backup battery ballasts. These will go into various 4-foot T8 fluorescent fixtures in your customers parking structure. The problem is a typical fluorescent emergency ballast is too fat to fit inside these fixtures, and the concrete ceiling does not have recesses for remote installment. Luckily, your parking lot problem is solved with the low profile 32-watt T8 emergency fluorescent ballast.
Bodine LP400 is fabricated to fit inside narrow ballast channels and tight ceiling spaces. The input and output wiring cable pokes out from one end and can easily hook up to a slim AC ballast within the luminaire. Its an ideal component for lights with up to 4 lamps. It will maintain a single linear T8 fluorescent bulb with up to 450-lumens of pathway lighting.

Application
This 32 watt low profile fluorescent ballast is the choice battery pack for installation within a linear fluorescent ballast channel. When the switching circuits detect a loss in AC power the unit will wait up to 5 seconds before going into emergency mode. It will keep the single T8 tube lit for 90 minutes at a reduced lumen output of 450.
External Specifications
The LP400 linear fluorescent emergency ballast has a heavy-gauge galvanized steel housing with a natural protective finish. Input and output wiring bundles protrude from a single side along with the LED charging indicator, which can install to the outside of the connected fixture. This test switch allows you to test the battery readiness at-will.

The included Ni-Cd battery has a separate Three (3) Year warranty.
