The availability of emergency lighting once normal power fails is a great thing to have in your facility while working round the clock. Our XEB-65-CF Barron brand CFL Emergency Ballast is a great precautionary solution. It’s great for (1) one or (2) two lamp compact fluorescent fixtures and has the capability of providing either normal or emergency power, the latter with given backup time of 90 minutes. It has an automatic switch to emergency mode without any manual operation.
With the operation of dual voltage (120/277V) at a frequency of 60 Hz this ballast makes a perfect choice for factories, big buildings and other outdoor environments in the USA.

Application
This product has a compact size that allows for installation of two ballasts in one fixture i.e. normal AC supply and emergency ballast. It cannot be utilized in heated air regions or wet and damp locations as it might cause damage to the battery. When battery packs are remotely mounted, the distance cannot exceed 1/2 from ballast to lamp. The maximum allowable remote mounting distance is 50 ft. from the lamp. Battery and charger are retrofitted for use in emergency situation.
