The XEB-7-B-LM model ballast is a one (1) lamp electronic device that operates both fluorescent and compact fluorescent fixtures and supplies them with emergency power during an unexpected power outage. The emergency operation lasts up to an hour and a half (90 minutes) and is automatic once AC power fails.
Composed with laminated steel this ballast not only is functional in very hot tempertures, it also has cold start capabilities. It operates fluorescent bulbs (T5-T12) and compact fluoresecent lamps (4-pin) with a sealed maintenance free nickel cadium battery.

Application
This unique ballast can be mounted either on the top of the fluorescent lamp or through its electrical enclosure. It’s U.L. Listed for retrofit or factory installation. Also has remote mounting capability (battery pack), as long as the distance doesn’t exceed ½ the distance between ballast and lamp.

Built in a painted steel case, the XEB-7B-LM model not only can be used as an emergency mode but also for normal operation. Batteries and battery charger are retrofitted for use in emergency.
